Picture this: You’re home, looking for nice, tasty food, drink or soup. You’re excited, as you finally get to relax and unwind with your favorite food.
Well, what if you can add CBD to the product, too?
We’ve long maintained that one of the reasons CBD is so popular is because it is so versatile. CBD can be consumed in a variety of ways, including as an edible, tincture, vaping juice, capsule, topical or more. As a result, users can get all of the apparent benefits of CBD in whatever way best suits their preferences. However, did you know that you can actually add CBD directly into your food or drink, using it as an ingredient for whatever you’d like?
It’s true. Indeed, there is no shortage of CBD recipes out there. Here are three of our favorites.

As always when consuming CBD, a few important points:
First, if you haven’t tried CBD before, make sure to check with your doctor before doing so. There are some drugs that may interact poorly with the compound, and your doctor will likely be familiar with what drugs you are taking and the potential for any negative interactions.
Second, make sure you only purchase CBD which has a Certificate of Analysis. This means that a third party has been paid to review the compound and independently provide an analysis of what is in the CBD. This confirms that you are only getting independently tested and verified drugs. Unfortunately, as previous studies have demonstrated, there are many bad sellers out there who only want to make a quick buck, even if that means fooling consumers.
Last, unless the recipe calls for it, make sure to use unflavored CBD. Doing otherwise can potentially dramatically impact your recipe.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are some easy CBD recipes you can try at home?
Adding CBD oil to baking, soup, or mashed vegetables is an excellent way to start. It can also provide a boost to the turmeric and ginger in golden milk. Finally, you can add it to your morning latte to help you focus at work or sneak some into your favorite energy ball recipe.
How do you make homemade CBD juice?
Simply add your daily CBD oil dose or part thereof to a fruit juice. If you’re using CBD to help you sleep, try adding it to cherry juice for a bedtime drink that boosts melatonin levels. You can mix the oil into almost any liquid you like. Milk is an excellent option because the fat helps the oil dissolve.
What is CBD chocolate good for?
Chocolate on its own is a tasty and decadent treat. After a stressful day at the office, there’s nothing quite like biting a piece and letting it dissolve in your mouth. Now, imagine those stress-relieving benefits amplified by the addition of CBD oil, and feel the tension soak away as the chocolate melts.
